Private Oxford City Bus Tour

We offer the availability of a whole tour bus for you own exclusive tour of Oxford on the regular route. This can be with a live English Speaking Guide or the use of our automatic commentary in up to 14 languages all running simultaneously. A standard tour lasts one hour.

We can collect you at any of the 20 regular stops or at a point in the city to suit yourself.

If you are arriving by your own charter coach we suggest you plan to meet at the Railway Station where adequate room is available to change vehicles. In addition there are toilets, food outlets and cash machines available.

Tour buses seat 75 passengers with 45 upstairs and 30 downstairs.

Due two weeks before travel for all pre-booked activities unless you have agreed credit terms with us.

Prices include

Prices include one open top bus crewed by one driver for one hour, with recorded commentary. Additional charge will apply for off route pickup/drop off, please ask for rates.

Live English speaking guide: plus £60

Live foreign language speaking guide: plus £100

Live Guides are subject to availability, particularly foreign languages.

Tour buses seat up to 75 people: 45 upstairs and 30 downstairs.

We offer live guides in one language of your choice, or an automatic commentary offering up to 14 languages delivered simultaneously for multi lingual groups travelling together.

Please state any language you require to ensure we can supply them for you.

Rates for English-speaking live guides

Up to 3 hours within Oxford: £130 (including VAT) per guide.

Extra time plus is counted at £40 (including VAT) per hour and a maximum of 25 people can be present per guide. Of course, for larger groups, we can provide more than one guide.

Starting points

We can meet you at any central location in Oxford which suits your needs. However, if arriving by coach we suggest the following points: Oxford Railway Station forecourt, (our office location) or outside the Playhouse Theatre, Beaumont Street, Oxford.

Things to note

• Fee does not include admission to Colleges or places of interest. These should be paid on the day direct to the College or venue.
• If you’d like to visit a specific College, please check with us first, as some Colleges are not open to visitors.
• Guides will wait free of charge for up to one hour for late arrivals, then extra time rates will be charged.
